New Pavilion Rental FAQ’s Updated

This spring and summer has been a real challenge to get some new guidelines in place for taking advantage of our great park, pool and pavilion. One of the biggest factors in deciding to do a basic rental agreement and contract is to make sure that the pool is adequately staffed, no dates are double-booked, and so the space remains clean and nice for all residents.

In the past, we have and have not required any kind of contract or deposit. This idea has varied from year to year in the development’s history. When the board looked deeper this year, we found that many occasions where safety, security, and liability became concerns. We want to make sure that people could reserve dates, be sure the pool would be staffed adequately, and ensure that the facilities would remain undamaged and clean for all residents’ parties.

As a result, we had to change the way we handle the business of renting the space. We feel that the process we have now will ensure that our park and pavilion be available to everyone, and will stay clean, safe and functional for the long-run.

If you have thoughts and feedback on the process or the concerns about our changes, please let any of the board members know (contact info available on the right margin of this page).

Additionally, we welcome your voices at the annual meeting – open to all residents in good standing – in February. Stay tuned for announcements on the date and location!
