One of the neighborhood’s favorite ‘get to know you’ social events is back. After a year without get together events at the park, we are happy to announce that we will be hosting our first event June 25th! Traditionally, Get Acquainted night is a Friday night adult party with lots of fun, good food and drinks, and hopefully great weather.
This year, for food, the River Dog food truck will be at the park from 5-8pm. For drinks, we’re asking for those coming to the party to bring some drink to share. It could be a six pack of beer, or a margarita mix, or anything else you’d like to contribute. We will provide ice, water and some pop for those choosing not to drink alcohol.
We have some restored Cornhole boards and bags to play some games, but would love people to bring Spikeball or any other lawn games they want to share. Bring it on down – I’m sure there will be people to play…plenty of good conversation, and good times!
If you have firewood to get rid of in your yard, please email us and we can arrange some pickup, or bring it on down to the park and stack it near the fire pit! That’s always a great way to end the evening – around the fire…so we hope you can all attend!
